Thureus HMIBuilder shareware supports industrial
OPC/DDE servers and visualizes the real-time data on
the graphic canvas. The canvas can be designed easily
by field engineers with no programming skill. All that
required is fill-in-the-blank ability. The real-time
data can be from many industrial devices such as PLC,
DCS. It also supports industrial networks such as
Modbus TCP, FieldBus, Ethernet/IP, DNP 3.0 etc as long
as the corresponding OPC server is available. Thureus
HMIBuilder is supplied as many versions and the
shareware is among them, expecting many customers can
join the OPC technology and enjoy the benefit of
adapting powerful standard technology to various of
industrial fields. And the shareware version can be
upgraded easily to more powerful versions when project
grows and needs more extended features such as
scripts, tag database and alarms/events handling as
well as data archiving function. Wizards of creating
tag databases just one clicks or importing/exporting
database from/to external file are among the extended
features. Connecting external notification SMS devices
and reporting Excel periodically, and alarm summary &
filtering are also the other features. All the
products use the standard OPC technology as the
internal architecture, maximizing the modular
expansions as much as possible. It also can be
connected to OPC UA enterprise level HMI solutions
with modern technology . It also supports HTML5
contents supporting mobile devices such as ios and
android mobile devices as the demo page shows. What
makes Thureus more extensible is that it can be OPC
DA,AE and HDA servers as well, which makes it
possible to bridge from OPC server to OPC/DDE servers
or other commercial HMIs such as InTouch, iFix,etc.
You could build up real powerful distributed solutions
