A powerful compression algorithm that uses Twin VQ
technology. Sound VQ Encoder will encode at rates up
to 96 kbps, but is comparable with MP3 encoded at 192
kbps. This means one-half the file size. Also, Yamaha
Sound VQ has a crispness and clarity that is simply
non-existent in standard MP3 encoders. Some better
encoders to use are as follows:
Sonic Foundry's MP3 Encoder - Professional, High-
Quality results. Download demo at www.sonicfoundry.com
Monkeys Audio - A powerfull, mathematically lossless
encoder. Download for free at www.monkeysaudio.com
