A simple, yet powerful, solution to the problem of allowing full FTP access to client programs on internal networks. ProxyFTP addresses remote FTP issues that are difficult or impossible to solve using conventional or SOCKS-reliant FTP proxying. Capabilities include near transparent use of the command line FTP program that comes with Win95/98 and NT, allowing programs like Network Associates virusscan or Norton's Antivirus make full use of their autoupdate features without relying on SOCKS, and simplifies usage of programs like MS FrontPage or Macromedia's DreamWeaver to fully use their FTP capabilities. You will probably find other uses.
