Post-@ is a new and powerful community-building device combining all of the features of traditional chatting and messaging applications. A real-time Internet communications tool, Post-@ allows users to transform Web sites into meeting places rather than depending on categorized Web-based communities. Major features include locating Post-@ users via Web sites, sharing files, posting notes to any Web site, chatting, sending e-mail or instant messages, maintaining a buddy list, viewing user profile pages and searching user bookmarks. The newest version of Post-@ includes a revolutionary file-sharing capability. Unlike traditional file transfer applications, any Internet surfer can actually search and pull files from the PC of Post-@ users who are online. This technology enables users to turn their PC into a small Web server where they can host their own sites without the hassle and expense of a provider.
