Navigation is an important part of web design from a
usability perspective. However, links and navigation
menus also provide opportunities to improve the visual
appearance of the site, or to add some interesting
effects. There are a lot of horizontal drop menus
around the web today and they are becoming more and
more popular. On this website you can see ready-to-use
jQuery based navigation with some great effects for
implementing on your own website. jQuery is a fast and
concise JavaScript Library that simplifies HTML
document traversing, event handling, animating, and
Ajax interactions for rapid web development. The menu
drops down when you hover over the top items and opens
the multilevel submenu. Hover above and feel for
yourself, the nifty effect of Lava Lamp. What you just
experienced is nothing but the LavaLamp menu packaged
as a plugin for the amazing jQuery javascript library.
When javascript is turned off in your browser you'll
use only pure CSS and unordered lists to create the
navigation menu with unlimited levels of pop outs.
