EditPad

Version 3.3.3 Freeware Free 1 downloads

A powerful replacement for the standard Windows 95 NotePad. Unlike Notepad, EditPad can open as many files at a time as you want, all accessible via tabs. It's not exactly freeware - it's postcardware - the author would love a postcard from all of his users.
