Sending traffic to your website is only one part of
the marketing process.

Once visitors land on your site your job, as a
webmaster or on-line marketer, is to persuade them to
take a 'desired action' (buy your product, for
example).

One of the key design elements on any web page,
affecting whether or not your visitors 'convert', is
the 'call-to-action' button - the button that
says 'Buy Now' or 'Sign up now' - you'll have
doubtless seen (and clicked on) these, on virtually
every website you've visited...

Split-testing techniques have historically proven that
simple improvements to your call-to-action buttons can
dramatically increase conversion rates (try Googling
this for yourself - you'll find hundreds of accounts
testifying to this fact).
