A GUI program bringing into one interface Microsoft's
many recommended methods for recovering text and maybe
formatting from corrupt Word files. Additionally it
features methods for recovering deleted and temporary
versions of your file. These methods mirror the ones
found in a similar program by the author, Excel
Recovery. The program adds a propriety method for
automatic corrupt docx file recovery that goes through
4 progressively simpler methods for recovering first
text and format and if not possible just text from bad
files. Finally the programs has links to 5 commercial
apps or services to try if recovery from the other
features is not satisfactory, including a link to the
author's own commercial manual file recovery service.
