WinPatch Professional Edition is a program for
developers and system administrators, who need to
create, distribute, and apply file update patches.
WinPatch Pro compares the old file system with the
new, and generates a compressed executable that
contains the files required to complete the update.
The recipient of the patch need only specify the
folder containing the application to apply it. You can
save your patch projects to disk for easy retrieval,
exclude files from the update list, and create backups
of replaced files. The program's powerful Wizard
interface and ample online help combine to make
creating patch files a quick and simple task. WinPatch
Professional Edition includes all the features in the
standard version of WinPatch—as well as these other
features: Company-wide license. Microsoft COM
component (ActiveX control) to apply patches from a
Web page, Visual Basic, or Visual C++ program. Full
Visual C++ ATL source code for the COM component that
applies patches.
