The advanced, encrypted key code generation allows software authors to distribute products as a Trialware, Shareware, Demonstration or Beta version. Each type can be limited by a number of days, a number of times used or an expiration date. After the trial period has ended, the control will not allow the user to reinstall or use the product unless they purchase the software or if the seller provides an extension key code to the user to continue the trial period. The control provides a customizable About/Nag screen, order screen and license screen. The control also provides a registration functionality to allow the issuing if registration key codes and retains a database of registered customers.
