When you read the Dimwit's Dictionary, you wonder if
you learned English or a foreign language. It features
an exhaustive list of words and phrases that
are "dimwitticisms" and must be eradicated from our
speech and our writing. It's a companion to the
Dictionary of Concise Writing. With these two books
and through untiring work we may evolve from the
everyday English to the elegant English.
