you of impending IDE hard drive failures before they
occur. This provides you with the time to backup data
and replace the hard drive before the failure occurs.

SmartMonitor-Plus retrieves the status information
from the hard drive and continuously compares this to
initial thresholds set when the drive is manufactured.

SmartMonitor-Plus then presents this information to
the user in a graphical format so that the user can
determine if a replacement drive is required.
