There are umpteen of reasons damaging the hard disk out
of which, MBR corruption, unexpected system shutdown,
accidental formatting of hard drive partition,
introduction of bad sectors in the disk, power failure,
etc are the main. These mishaps damage the data
contained in it and it then requires days to recover
all data. The NTFS File Recovery Software is equipped
with three scan modes namely Quick scan, Extensive Scan
and File trace. Quick scan is fastest of all and comes
into usage when user has lost files due to MFT damage
or boot sector corruptions. The Extensive Scan is used
when the earlier one fails. It restores data that is
damaged due to partition format/re format or deletion.
File Trace mode is the slowest of all and is used when
everything else fails. It restores severely damaged
data quickly. The tool consists of various features
that help user to perform complete data recovery
instantly. The save/load recovery option lets the user
save or load the ongoing repair process and save time
in future. Users can easily find specific files or
apply file filters when needed. Moreover, the software
allows personalization of settings before starting the
data recovery, that is, users can define number of
sectors to read in single attempt, renaming,
duplicating, or skipping duplicate files, number of
retries on bad sectors, and settings for deleted files
to include/exclude/to only recover deleted files.
Kernel for FAT and NTFS software is also obtainable in
trial edition. Using the trial version, user can repair
and preview everything. However, to save anything
recovered, user must purchase the licensed copy of the
tool. It supports all versions of Windows operating
systems including the Windows 8.1 and it supports FAT
16, FAT 32, NTFS, and NTFS5 file systems. For more
