Acronis Ransomware Protection is a free, lightweight
version of Acronis proven, artificial intelligence-
based anti-ransomware technology, which protects users
against attacks from both known and unknown ransomware
variants. Unlike traditional AV software options,
Acronis Ransomware Protection monitors for suspicious
activities in real-time, blocks detected processes,
and allows users to recover any affected files from
local cache. Based on our award-winning Acronis Active
Protection technology, the free solution allows users
to manage a whitelist of approved apps and blacklist
of malicious processes. Acronis Ransomware Protection
is completely compatible with the most common/popular
anti-malware solutions and comes with 5GB of free
cloud storage to put important files out of reach of
ransomware and other data threats. It is the single
best additional layer of protection a system can add
against ransomware.
