The Decision Reports Toolkit is a set of ActiveX
components for creating, viewing and printing reports.
The main component of the toolkit is DRTSheet - an
Excel-compatible spreadsheet control. The other
components automate constructung the reports using
different data sources. MS OLAP service and ADO sources
are supported now.
Using this toolkit you can create professional reports,
which cannot be constructed using traditional reporting
software. It allows creating and changing report
structure at run-time, editing the resulted documents,
searching in reports.
The components are small in size and fast. The similar
reporting systems, which work with Excel via OLE or DDE
instead of using ActiveX controls, are slower and
require Excel to be installed on client. The Decision
Reports Toolkit allows deploying your apps with all
required software, reducing the total cost of application.
