All the useful functions for the communication with a
user that you have missed so far in the AppleScript,
you can have now also under the Mac OS X system! 24U
Appearance OSAX 2.0 for Mac OS X enables your
AppleScript to generate error messages, generate
dialogue windows, open floating windows with text,
display indicators of process and send notifications
to the user.
Still equally simple but much more efficient than
a "display dialog" supplied in a standard mode.
