A multi-party Internet voice conferencing software. It supports full-duplex and voice mixing Internet phone operations. Five people conferencing are supported for using 28.8 kbps modems. For ISDN and LAN connections, the number of people supported in conferencing can further increase. GatherTalk supports both public chatrooms and private conferencing groups for Internet and intranets usage respectively. It has a set of application program interface (API) for third parties to develop PlugIns for GatherTalk and to add voice conferencing feature to their applications.
