My Flexible Dictaphone is a fully featured software
based voice recording and variable playback system.
Its purpose is to adapt a traditional method of typing
assistance to use on a computer. This gives people who
don't want to find and correct typing errors made by
voice recognition software a quick, easy, and
efficient solution for their typing tasks.
There are two basic ways to use this software:
-Self dictation utility - users who don't know touch
typing (typing without looking at the keyboard) can
easily retype documents by recording themselves
reading from the document first, then typing while
listening to their dictation.
-Enhanced traditional dictaphone - the software can be
used in the same ways as a traditional dictaphone,
with the advantage that you have your dictation in the
form of digital audio ready to be sent to a typist as
an e-mail attachment.
