RSIGuard is the most comprehensive integrated
ergonomic software solution for managing and
preventing repetitive strain injury (RSI) such as
carpal tunnel, tendonitis, wrist pain, and
deQuervain's. Its BreakTimer feature contains a
realistic trauma model that only gives stretch / rest
breaks when they're actually needed. The AutoClick
feature is an artificially intelligent mouse-clicking
feature that nearly eliminates shoulder and wrist pain
from mouse use -- the leading cause of RSI. RSIGuard
provides customizable microbreak awareness reminders
with its ForgetMeNots feature. RSIGuard's DataLogger
keeps track of useful ergonomic statistics such as:
typing rate, mousing & typing intensity; length of
computer use each day; break-related information;
detailed keyboard analysis; and more. It can show and
print graphs of workstyle trends over the years for
use by a health practitioner. RSIGuard also supports
multiple users on the same computer so each user's
configuration and data are managed separately.
RSIGuard fits realistically into the work world. Each
feature can be extensively customized and can be
enabled or disabled. Real world issues are addressed,
for example, with features like BreakTimer's willpower
setting, which adjusts how difficult the computer
makes it for you to skip a break based on your
personality or the BreakTimer's intelligent break
placement feature that actually tries to find less
intrusive times to suggest breaks.
