This suite includes a Demo server and a FREE client. The suite is extremely useful for paging a person using the IP protocol. The server recieves a dial command from the client and uses a modem to dial out using an invisible prefix, the client's dial-string, and an invisible suffix. You may distribute the FREE client to people who need to contact you and tell them the IP address, port, and password to use. Because of the server listens over IP and allows an invisible (on the client-side) dial string prefix and suffix, you may choose to write a web-based Java Applet or ActiveX control which only allows the user to enter a number and press a send button. Detailed protocol specifications are also included. The client does not need an open phone line, and can NEVER see your pager's (or other) phone number since it is entered as the dial string prefix on the server! The server is also password protectable.
