Call assistant will make voice/modem calls and allows you to record these calls to disk, it is used with a voice modem and will give you 20 calls in this trial version. Recordings can be used in call centers to verify what has been said on the phone or at home for taking a note of what has been said. Very useful as the recording can be slowed down to hear what was siad etc... using other wav applications.
