If your application has more than one window - and
that is most probably the case - and relies on
multiple input forms and report pages, smooth and fast
navigation becomes one of the key factors determining
the value of your application for clients. Few things
irritate people more than complete inability to
quickly switch between program elements or the
necessity to look for specific application controls to
do that.

Text menus don't work as efficiently as bright and
clear visuals that instantly and unambiguously point
at specific navigation commands. If you still haven't
decided on the icons to use in your product or have
just realized that you will not be able to create them
in-house before the deadline in the necessary quality,
take a closer look at Navigation Toolbar Icons - a
comprehensive set of navigation-related stock icons
coming in a variety of formats, resolutions and color
depths!
