AVX for ICQ is an antivirus special designed for ICQ.
It is able to intercept, filter and virus scan all
files sent during an ICQ chat session. Based on a new
proprietary technology, AVX for ICQ incorporates
features found on enterprise-class corporate
firewalls. The product uses the powerful virus
protection engine incorporated into the AntiVirus
eXpert Professional, the full-featured antivirus for
desktop.
At the moment a file that contains malicious code is
transferred, AVX for ICQ alerts the user about it,
providing a full range of options including removal
and disinfections. Thus, the user is enabled to have a
full control over the transferred file and decide
whether to accept it or not. The virus signatures
database can be updated at any moment from
www.avx.com .
