TWedge extends arbitrary software systems or databases
with real-time data acquisition services.
Modifications of the target system are not required!

Within seconds device data from RS232, RS485, USB,
Bluetooth or TCP/IP interfaces is captured with
arbitrary applications, databases or ERP systems (e.g.
barcode-scanner, scales, gauges, controller,
PLC, ...). This software wedge reads data from
external devices automatically, the captured data is
then reliable transferred to the target application
(e.g. to SAP R/3) via direct ODBC or file access, or
by simulating keystrokes (keyboard wedge mode).

Each data acquisition requirement is solved by TWedge
in an elegant, cost-effective and flexible way. This
software wedge operates as background application
(like the system clock), receives device data
