Recovery process scans your affected iPod fast and
searches almost all data from it. The Advance Recovery
option scans your iPod in comparatively slow manner but
is more effective than quick recovery’s scanning.
Whereas, to recover your deleted data, the tool
provides the option of ‘Deleted File Recovery’. This
option recovers all deleted data from iPod however this
scanning process is also a bit slow but recovers almost
all deleted data of iPod. Since, the scanning process
lists all the files found in the iPod, thus if you want
to select only some specific file type, then you can
apply filters. Moreover, you can find your required
files from the list of scanned files through ‘Find’
option of this tool. With all these features, this
software lets you save the result of scanning process
in a scan information file. You can save the scan
information file of a process before the completion of
scanning. Additionally, this software lets you create
the image file of an iPod. If you have created the
image of your iPod then, you need not to attach the
iPod to perform recovery. However, the location where
image file is saved should have space greater than or
equal to the total space of iPod. Therefore, the
created image (.dat file) and saved scan information
enable you to resume the recovery process at any later
stage. The tool also saves the record of complete
process in a log report.
