Not all external USB drives work properly when connected to a TV's USB port, as they are very dependent on the TV brand and model involved. Your TV might not recognize your USB drive at all, or it might show up as being recognized by the TV, however it will not be able to display any of the contents that you may have previously put onto it.

TV USB Go software is an ideal solution for your TV and your USB drives. All USB storage devices are supported by the software, including USB flash drive, USB thumb drive, USB key drive, and external hard drive connected to a TV's port.

Supported TV brands include SONY, Samsung, LG, Hisense, TCL, Sharp, Toshiba, Philips, Panasonic, Skyworth, Vizio, JVC, Polaroid, Sceptre, Supersonic, Element, Insignia, Leeco, RCA, and MI. Regardless of TV models, be it a smart TV or a legacy non-smart TV, TV USB Go software decides how to format a USB drive and make it compatible with a TV. Given that a smart TV is shipped with Android or other operating systems and you want to install software Apps by connecting a USB drive to the TV's USB port, TV USB Go software saves a tremendous amount of time. All you need to do is to tell the software what you want, whether you want to store movies, pictures, audio files, or you want to install software Apps.

A great feature of TV USB Go software is quick format, which allows you to format any USB drive in less than 10 seconds, regardless of the capacity of your USB drive. Another great one is scan and repair. Windows has a built-in Format tool, and it sometimes fails to manipulate a USB drive not recognized by Windows. TV USB Go is able to factory reset a USB drive by removing hidden disk partitions and restoring it to its full capacity as well as making it with just one partition. The software allows you to scan corrupted USB drive for errors, if you do not have confidence in your USB drive. If you have sensitive data, the software is able to wipe the data three times with different algorithms.
