A utility which provides rising, transit and setting
times for both the Sun and Moon, start and end times
for Civil, Nautical and Astronomical twilight and a
range of information on the Moon and, to a lesser
degree, the Sun, graphically displaying the current
phase of the moon (in real time), its age, percentage
illuminated, distance, position and the times and
dates of the major lunar phases for the selected
month and year.
Calcuates times and dates of lunar eclipses between
two dates; determines visibility of eclipses from
user's location; provides diagram of mid-eclipse.
Calculates Equinox and Solstice times; Provides
day/week numbers in ISO format.
Displays daily phase diagram for month (which
can be saved); Displays lunar librations in latitude
and longitude corrected for user's location; Displays
Selenographic CoLongitide and Position Angle of the
moon's axis; Provides a database of lunar features
which is used in the calculation of sunrise and
sunset at those lunar features - 1,961 lunar features
are provided with the software; Displays a list of
sunrise and sunset times at various lunar features
(both near-side and far-side) for the month.
Provides diagrams of moon's monthly visibility and
daily motions; prints out monthly calendar with/out
lunar and solar info, daily view disgram, visiblility
diagram, times and dates of sun/moon rise/set times
and twilight times for the month.
