The great poets like Shakespeare, Byron, Wilde, were
able to express any - even the most intricate - idea
without much effort. Was it a natural gift of language
intuition, or it took them many years of work to
develop this talent, we will never know. Be that as it
may, their poetry today, like centuries ago, presents
the best samples of beautiful speech, an art always
useful to learn.
Puzzle Poetry is a wonderful means to develop your
language intuition. The player is offered a number of
poem fragments that he or she is supposed to collect
into a whole. To do that, the player needs to
understand which word better suits the meaning of the
previous one. The application includes over 1,500
poems of the most famous authors: Shakespeare, Swift,
Goldsmith, Burns, Blake, Byron, Wilde, and so on.
