Verona Desktop Enhancer (VDE) is a freeware program that will make your desktop shine. You are no more limited to ugly 32x32 16 colors icons. You can add custom, graphic objects of any size and form, animated and even alpha blended. VDE is not intrusive, doesn't completely revolutionize your normal Windows desktop and shell, and doesn't substitute itself to them like other programs do. It simply adds wonderful objects to the desktop, near the usual shortcut icons or floating around like normal windows.
