ISO is a universal CD image format, making it
compatible with a variety of programs. ISO images
serve a number of purposes. Use them to create an
identical copy of the original disk to back up your
existing movies and music or send a personal video to
friends and family. You can also use the ISO just like
an actual CD, by mounting it into a virtual disc drive
(a program, such as Power ISO Virtual Drive Manager,
is required). Of course, you can use ISO files to
reduce costs and save customers money.
The built-in ISO creator of Freemore ISO Maker Burner
enables you to create ISO image from existing files
and folders (with subfolder) for permanent backup. It
supports ISO-9660 level 1 & 2 and ISO-9660 + Joliet
UNICODE name extension.
ISO is good for storing files/data/video that isn't
copy protected and is supported by almost every
imaging program. Freemore ISO Maker Burner can
perfectly burn ISO image files you made to CD/DVD disc
