Altova FlowForce Server is a highly scalable platform
to automate enterprise workflows for data
transformation, aggregation, and conversion, as well
as document and report generation, and other tasks
performed by dedicated high-speed servers. FlowForce
Server empowers data architects, analysts, and other
IT professionals to implement and manage a secure,
robust data transformation server without writing or
compiling source code. FlowForce server jobs are
triggered by date and time, arrival of new input data,
or by https command. FlowForce Server executes
MapForce Server to transform data based on mappings
created and uploaded by Altova MapForce. MapForce
Server maps between any combination of XML, database,
EDI, XBRL, flat file, Excel, JSON, and/or Web service.
MapForce Server supports all major databases,
including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, IBM
DB2, Informix, Sybase, and Microsoft Access. EDI
support is provided for the most prevalent standards:
EDIFACT, X12, HIPAA, HL7, SAP IDoc, and IATA PADIS.
