JF Music is designed to help you keep track of your
music collection, big or small. It has support for
retrieving the CD information from the internet, just
slide the CD in to the CD-Rom and press a button, JF
Music then collects the information from the web
(freedb.org), and adds it to the appropriate fields,
making it possible to add a large amount of CDs very
fast.
The program goes in to great details on each CD.
There are many items that can be added, over 35 items
per CD and then 20 different items for each track.
In the main window it displays the details of the
record, it can be modified by changing the XSL
template, so it's fully user configurable. It's also
possible to configure the printouts aswell, what
items to print and how the layout should look like.
There are ofcourse print preview, so it's possible to
see how it looks without spending a lot of paper.
It’s possible to add both a back and front image to
the CD, which is displayed in the preview window.
The program also "remebers" previous items entered,
so when you start to enter a artist, and it has been
entered before, JF Music automatically completes the
field for you.
