Easily create electronic brochures, web-based
slideshows and presentations in the Flash movie
format. Include formatted text, images, vector
graphics and animations.
FvReader is also ideal for sales presentations,
tutorials, proposals and school projects. It is aimed
at a broad market where web design expertise is not
required.
Pictures can be dragged from folders into place in the
layout window. Text can be typed directly into the
layout area and moved, sized and formatted with the
click of a button, or copied and pasted - retaining
format information - from programs such as Word.
Sophisticated layout possibilities are avaliable by
using multiple moveable text areas. Built-in shapes
can be used to add indicator lines or text backing.
Color filling options include gradients, which can be
tweaked using the interactive gradient editor.
There is no need for timelines, channels or scripting.
Moving images, shapes or text boxes in front of or
behind other items requires a single mouse click.
When the HTML and Flash (SWF) file is generated (by
clicking the Export button), forward and backward
navigation buttons are automatically added at the base
of each page. Pages can have an entrance animation and
an exit animation (also called page transitions).
Individual items on the page - which could be images,
shapes, text or single letters - can have an entrance
animation attached that can consists of any number
move movements, shape changes and color and
transparency changes. Select an animation from the
list of standards, or add your own by creating simple
text-based files (format information is provided).
Since the emphasis of FvReader is on tight control of
text layout, it could serve handy as a compliment to
larger programs such as PowerPoint or Flash MX, or
could be an alternative for simpler presenations that
need to be generated in a hurry.
