TheFutureWare CholesterolCounter program for Windows
9x/NT/2K/XP that maintains a history of cholesterol
readings, typically obtained with readily available
home testing kits, along with exercise periods and
types, and an additional selected health sign tracking
item, which is displayed in a color-coded bar chart,
which can be printed, and optionally can be sent over
a secure Internet connection to a prescribing
physician for remote monitoring. If the user is taking
medication, then the application can keep track of
usage, prompting when a refill is needed, and open the
default internet browser for prescription re-ordering
if the issuing pharmacy has such
capability.
