UemakeXp File Splitter (UMS) is a tool that will help
you with backups and to transport large files from
system to system. It allows you to split a large file
into several smaller files. These smaller files can
then either be sent directly to portable storage such
as floppies or CD's, or copied to such portable
storage. Once the files have been transported to the
target system they can then be joined together in order
to recreate the original large file.
UemakeXp File Splitter support split to any size,
autosize is allowed too. All of the common sizes (FDD,
CD, ZIP) are predefined. With UMS you can create
self-joining packages, so UMS must not be installed on
