Version
0.90.2
Ruby - This program will scan the users CDRs and then
catalog and save the file properties (name,
directory, attributes, size, and date) and the disc
properties (serial #, file system, volume label, # of
files, and a user chosen description) onto a
database. The user can then run a search for a
particular file in the database rather than browse
manually through all of the CDRs. Will also work with
any other removable media such as floppies, zip
disks, USB keys, etc and any "non-removable" media
such as IDE or SCSI hard drives and RAMdisks. Update
includes outputing results to a plain text or CSV
file, password protection, advanced search, check for
duplicate discs, total file count, repair of external
databases, auto-asterisks on search entries, and
several other options. This version also includes
support for saving the contents of compressed files,
Windows XP support, re-scanning a Disc into an
existing ID, language pack functionality (English,
Spanish, Polish, Danish, Croation, and Romanian
included in setup), RBY file association, drive
ejection button, most recently used database menus,
saving MP3 (ID3v2/ID3v1) information, Disc cover
editor, HTML Help system, Disc explorer, character
set selection, and pre-defined search entries. Also
included is the ability to calculate and store MD5
file checksums, properly read and strore file sizes
larger than 2.1GB, list viewer with export to PDF,
and database merging.
